Anne of Green Gables digital
In this commissioned project, I created 15 book illustrations and 1 cover design for a Chinese edition of Anne of Green Gables. The story written by L.M. Montgomery tells a story of an 11-year-old orphan Anne. I focused a lot on the lights and shadows in order to express different atmospheres and emotions. I also hid extra details in the images to motivate viewers' imagination.
This illustrated story zine tells a short, tender relationship between a girl and a duck. I combined mixed-media and Photoshop to create a dreamlike atmosphere.
