Due to my undergraduate major, I like to observe cities and people in cities, especially their emotions and behaviors. I often sit in a common area for a whole day, feeling their expectations and pressures on life. This group of works mainly expresses my observation of them and myself, showing the struggle and status of young people living in big cities. We think that young people may lose their vitality under constant pressure, but they still cling to their happiness. Take all the stressful things out of their life for a while, magnify all the happy things in life, and embrace the romantic imagination.
My works are deeply influenced by the life philosophy of young people. I like strong colors and associations, and digital collage is my most commonly used expression. I think this kind of collage
with surrealism is very joyful, just like what young people give to me.
