To change the realities and perceptions of the care of frail, older people in care homes throughout the UK through the design of a teaching and research active care home in the Lothian region. The Teaching & Research active Care Home is the result of a partnership between the Universities of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier and Queen Margaret with NHS Lothian. With students from MA Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture working together, student projects have the potential to deliver creative ideas and solutions to help inform the design and delivery of the project.
