School of Art PhD candidate Alberta Whittle will represent Scotland in the next Venice Biennial, she is the recent recipient of a Turner Bursary, the Frieze Artist Award and a Henry Moore Foundation Artist Award in 2020. Alberta will talk about her practice and ethics of care and compassion in her research approach in conversation with Cat Dunn. Cat is currently a doctoral candidate at DJCAD University of Dundee, an emerging black social justice curator and international fellow with the AAMC Foundation Engagement Program for International Curators (EPIC).
